It’s a slow period for Ohio State’s non-revenue sports.
Fall sports are completed while some winter sports teams are taking an extended break.
However, the OSU men’s and women’s hockey teams have played on, with mixed results. The men’s team is 8-6 overall and 0-2 in the first season of Big Ten hockey. The “Buck-ice” had won five straight before losing two in a row to TTUN. Ugh.

Ryan Dzingel leads a group of four with double-digit points. He has nine goals and nine assists for 18 points. Max McCormick has seven goals and nine assists and Alex Szczechura has four goals and 12 assists, good for 16 points each. Tanner Fritz has a pair of goals and 13 assists for 15 points.
